Welcome to my blog!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit! We hope to share with you our journey of raising a child with Achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism. If this is your first time here, please start by reading Caitlyn's Story. It will share the beginning of her life with you. Enjoy!

POLP Get Together – Part 7

Wherever we go it’s just in me to get together with friends – whether it’s back in the Bay Area, here in Sac or places we travel.  So when it was first mentioned that we might be going to San Diego for Christmas, one of my first thoughts was, I’m going to plan a POLP get together.  For those of you that aren’t familiar with my lingo – POLP stands for Parents of Little People.

I put the word out there to the Southern CA POLP’s and we were joined by 3 families from San Diego.  Kari and her son Logan (who’s about 15 months – can’t remember exactly but right around there), Ellen and her two kids, Justin (who is Caty’s age) and Lily (who is Hanna’s age) and Jane and her two boys, Daniel (who’s almost 5) and Jake (who’s almost 3).
