Welcome to my blog!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit! We hope to share with you our journey of raising a child with Achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism. If this is your first time here, please start by reading Caitlyn's Story. It will share the beginning of her life with you. Enjoy!

Simple Woman's Daybook

Simple Woman's Daybook - October 19th 2015

Outside my window… it's dark and about time for bed.

I am thankful for… my family and friends!  They are amazing!

In the kitchen… the dishes are washed from the day and my coffee is set and ready for the morning.

I am wearing… my pj's as its just about bedtime for me.

I am creating… ideas for blog posts.  Slacking - yep that's me!!

I am going to… try again at being better about my blog

I am reading… "Helping Your Kids Cope With Divorce" - I want to make sure that I am doing everything I can for myself and more importantly my girls.

I am hoping… to catch up on blogs soon!

I am hearing… not much - the house is very quiet as it should be at 11pm

Around the house… everyone is sleeping but me.

A few plans for the rest of the week… Work, work and work...soccer practice for Hanna tomorrow and Thursday night with a game on Saturday. Watching the girls play outside with their friends, some fun for me later on in the week and just enjoy every minute.

A picture that I’m sharing... My two girls - love them!!

Simple Woman's Daybook - August 18th, 2014

For today - August 18th, 2014

Outside my window... it is 9:40 at night so it's dark and I can't see anything

I am thankful for... the fact that both girls are loving school and their teachers. We sure lucked out this year!

I am wearing... my pajamas since it is 9:40 and dark outside

I am creating... thoughts in my head as to how I am going to add glitter to our soccer banner as we are the Glittery Butterflies and the spray paint/glitter can I bought sure didn't work well.

I am going to... probably be sore tomorrow from all my walks today. Walk #1 was .52 miles, walk #2 was 6.04 miles and walk #3 was 2.62 miles.

I am reading... Miracle Beach by Erin Celello

I am hoping to... not get woken up by Hanna tonight. She came into our room 2 or 3 times last night.

I am hearing... the wind outside and the tvs with their different shows going.

Around the house... the girls are both asleep as is the dog. Scott and I are catching up on dvr shows.

A few plans for the rest of the week...I'm working Tues and Thurs. Not much besides school on Wednesday. Thurs night I'm going to Stoneys (haven't been there in so long) to hear CGB play. Wed and Fri morning I'm hoping to walk with my mom friends. Sat is opening day for soccer - parade in the morning, team pictures at some point and a bbq to finish the day off.

A picture I'm sharing... Hanna on this past Sat at her first ever soccer game
