Welcome to my blog!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit! We hope to share with you our journey of raising a child with Achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism. If this is your first time here, please start by reading Caitlyn's Story. It will share the beginning of her life with you. Enjoy!

I Love the Mountain Air!

One of Caty’s best friends from preschool moved to the Tahoe City for this school year.  We’ve been so busy since they moved in July that we finally made it up for a visit a few weekends ago.
The entrance to Squaw Valley – where the 1960 Winter Olympics were held.  I skied here a handful of times back in High School – what a resort it is!!

Looks like you guys had a great visit! Kylie and Nikki liked the pictures of the sled, they prompted them to start asking me when it was going to snow so we could go sledding agin... LOL.

I, on the other hand, totally LOVE the pics by the lake!! I haven't been up to Tahoe in almost twenty years (argh, I'm getting old!) but those pics definitely brought back some good memories so thanks for sharing!

What a beautiful place! I love the picture of the girls on the rocks in the water. How wonderful to have good friends to visit in a gorgeous place like that!
