Welcome to my blog!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit! We hope to share with you our journey of raising a child with Achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism. If this is your first time here, please start by reading Caitlyn's Story. It will share the beginning of her life with you. Enjoy!

Simple Woman’s Daybook – March 1st 2011

For today – March 1st 2011

Outside my window...   the sun is shining but it’s still cold (for CA) this morning – it’s currently 38*.

I am thinking...  about how much I have to do before next weekends JFB Consignment sale (which actually has to be done by next Wednesday because that is set-up day) – tags are printed out but now I have to start tagging all of the items I’m selling – which is everything baby related because we’ve decided that two if enough!

I am thankful for... the fact that Hanna will play by herself for long periods of time – it allows me to get my blogs typed, emails sent and other things accomplished on the computer while Caty is at school.

I am wearing... jeans and a fleece sweatshirt

I am creating... a flyer for the LPA fundraiser that I have put together – if you missed my announcement check out my blog about it.

I am going to… unfortunately miss Bunco tonight – boo!

I am reading... nothing at the moment – have several books to chose between – thinking of starting “The Last Song” by Nicholas Sparks.

I am hoping...  that the next 122 days goes by quickly because once those days are over, we’ll be in Anaheim with our LPA family!

I am hearing... Hanna say “ribbit” and yes, she’s hopping around like a frog.

Around the house...  Hanna has toys everywhere, at least she’s keeping herself busy.

A few plans for the rest of the week…  not much going on this week

A picture that I am sharing... We were cleaning the garage up and came across this house that Caty used to love – she and now Hanna feel the same way about it.

And here’s Caty in the house back in April of 2006

Such cute pictures!! My boys love playing in their tent, but they would love that house (looks like it's twice the size of their little tent).
Too cute - Hanna hopping around and saying "ribbit"! Seriously - she would get along with my boys so well! Simon is really into frogs and does the same. :)
So sad that we'll miss seeing you guys this summer! Can't wait to hear all about it though and see pics!
"The Last Song" looks like a good book! I really need to make more time to read all of the books I would like to read.
Good luck with the consignment sale!
