Welcome to my blog!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit! We hope to share with you our journey of raising a child with Achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism. If this is your first time here, please start by reading Caitlyn's Story. It will share the beginning of her life with you. Enjoy!

Visitors from San Diego

A few weekends ago my brother Todd, sister in law Erin and niece Riley came up for a visit.  Todd and Riley were up mid-June but it seems that I forgot to post a blog about that visit, so I’ll include it in this one.
We sure miss being able to see Todd and his family.  We're looking forward to heading to San Diego for Christmas and spending a handful of days with them.
Hanna and Riley are just about 3 weeks apart in ago.  Last time they were here, Riley had recently started walking and Hanna was still crawling.

This visit was much different as both girls were walking and of course Caitlyn was hobbling.  Riley is super fast – almost runs rather than walks.  Here are some pictures from their most recent visit.

What cute pictures. Hanna and Riley look so much alike. I love how Caty bug is the big "sister" to both in these pictures. She is too much. And she was such a trooper with that cast. At first I didn't realize the pictures were from June and I saw all these boxes and was like, are you guys moving? But then realized it was your parents' home. Three beautiful girls. Cannot wait to see pictures as they all get older!

Looks like you guys had a super-fun visit! Love all the pics of Caty and Hanna with their cousin - Caty helping with bathtime was just too cute!

Adorable pictures!! The three of them are just beautiful! I thought the same as Kim that Hanna and Riley look a lot alike! I love how excited your parents look in the pictures with them too - must be the best time for them when their granddaughters are together! It looks like a great visit for everyone!
