FOR TODAY – June 1
Outside my window... the sun is shining and the weeds are growing – I sure wish that once you sprayed them with round-up, they would NEVER come back, ever!
I am thinking... that I only have 5 days until Hanna’s birthday – lots to do!!
I am thankful for... the sunshine!
From the kitchen... not much going on in the kitchen until it’s time to make dinner – I’m making Chicken Stuffed Rolls tonight.
I am wearing... shorts and a t-shirt – the wardrobe of a stay at home mom.
I am creating... Decorations for Hanna’s Ladybug party – Caty helped me paint some of them yesterday.
I am going... for a walk tonight. This will be my 4th night in a row of going out for a walk ALL ALONE, once Hanna is in bed.
I am reading... Last Kiss by Luanne Rice – still, haven’t ready but a few pages since last week.
I am hoping... to get a few blog posts done while Hanna is napping – now to convince Caty that I need her to play by herself – yeah right!
I am hearing... the clothes bouncing around in the dryer.
Around the house... Hanna is napping and Caty is playing (for now) on the floor with her Littlest Pet Shop friends.
One of my favorite things... is the fact that Hanna is totally content playing by herself. Caitlyn STILL has a hard time playing alone, so I’m extremely grateful that Hanna will go off and find something to do.
A few plans for the rest of the week… just getting things ready for the party on Saturday. We also have playgroup on Thursday, which we might walk to. Lots of little cleaning bursts throughout the week.
