Decorating the Christmas Tree

I just wanted to share some of the pictures from when we decorated our tree and a few from the night of our Holiday Party. Caitlyn wanted to be a big help this year and with any other tree she could have, but the limbs on the tree we got were so flimsy, I could hardly get any of the ornaments to stay put. That's what you get when you stop at Home Depot during the first week of December, when they don't have many trees to choose between. We had fun and the tree looks nice. Next year though, we'll get a stronger tree so we can use all of our ornaments, not just the ones that weigh nothing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Love and hugs,
Jaime

Great pictures! It was such a fun year to get the kids involved in decorating the tree. Now my only problem is that every day I come home and it looks different, because they take the ornaments off and rearrange them all day long! Caty is just adorable and I love her shirt!

Caty is so cute! Looks like she had a good time decorating the tree! If she is anything like Taylor, it seems that all the ornaments gets bunched up on like 4 branches and I have to strategically redistribute!

OK. This is too funny! Liz has the EXACT same set of PJs - yes, Not even kidding. The "good things come in small packages." The only difference is Liz's are stained. Brian and I went out one night, and her babysitter gave her a bath and then let her have hot chocolate (I have no idea why she did things in that order). Anyway, to this day, you can still see the brown smudges from the hot chocolate, but she loves those PJs.

I just had to comment on the cute photos and the fun George Strait Christmas Cookies song. I'm a big George Strait fan and have enjoyed his Christmas albums as well.
