The day started with us having speech therapy followed by playgroup - which was at our house. Caty, Avery and Raya dressed up. I didn't get any pictures of the girls together as they were just too busy playing. The morning and into the after gave us rain showers, here and there. By the time we'd had dinner and Caty was in her costume it had dried out (some) and off we went. We just made a loop around the block near our street. We live at the end of a court and most of our neighbors don't encourage trick-or-treaters (boo for them!) Caitlyn was so happy and we were both surprised that we walked almost the whole way - we were gone for about 45 minutes, which is way longer than we thought she'd last. Last year we hit about 4 houses, so this year was a huge difference. We got a few rain showers while walking the block but nothing stopped her, except for when she got too excited and started walking a little too fast. She had some funky shoes on, that went with the costume, and since they were a little funny to walk in, she ended up falling. She cried a tear or two, then said she wanted to go to more houses - off we went again. She came home with a bucket full of candy and somehow we convinced her that she could only have 1 piece of candy, and then it was bedtime. She totally fell for it, no questions asked! We had a great time and know that she did too!

Can Caty be any cuter in her get up?!? I don't think so!! I was totally imagining her adorable personality and it made me excited for next year when Cole is older and knows what's happening a little bit more...
I just love that costume on her! She's so cute! Ethan just saw me looking at the pix & asked "mommy. . . . what's hers name?" he was totally checkin her out! lol!
What a cute costume! It looks like Caty had so much fun!
Oh, sweet Caty. What a cute pumpkin fairy she made!
Jaime!
Caty is an adorable pumpkin fairy! Her smile is infectious!

Of course, Caty is adorable, especially with that huge pumpkin fairy smile! But, wow, she didn't even ask about more than one peice of candy - way to go Jaime!!! My kids are like hugging their buckets and hiding candy strategically all over the freakin house! I am constantly asking Trace what he has in his mouth and his answer is always "candy!!!"
She is just too cute. It was the same with Andrea. Last year she could care less. This year she was all into it.
So glad that you were able to convince her only 1 piece. I think Andrea got away with 2. LOl
So cute! I love her costume!!!
She is so cute I cannot stand it! She always has the biggest smile on her face. Her funky shoes-Caty my dear you have years ahead of you. Women's feet just suffer because a beautiful pair of shoes is sometimes worth the pain. A tough lesson you are already learning at such a ripe young age. :-)
