Welcome to my blog!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit! We hope to share with you our journey of raising a child with Achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism. If this is your first time here, please start by reading Caitlyn's Story. It will share the beginning of her life with you. Enjoy!

Tennessee – Part 12 – Famous People

To quote a Brad Paisley song - “Famous People” -
I can't wait to get back home and tell all my buddies
That I met one of the most famous people in the country
OK – so we actually met 3 of them.
We got a chance to chat with Amy Roloff, from Little People Big World,  on the 4th of July
Unfortunately we never ran into her again, as I would have loved to get a picture of her and Caty
amy roloff
We did, however, run into Matt Roloff

As well as Marty Klebba – who’s an actor and best known for appearing in the Pirates of the Caribbean.  He was such an nice guy – chatted with us for a few minutes.  He asked where we were from and when I said “California” he replied “that’s funny I’ve never seen you guys at an event before.”  When I told him that we lived in the Sacramento area he said “well, that would be why.”

Thursday July 8th was Michelle’s birthday so we took her out to dinner at the Wildhorse Saloon.  I invited Melissa and her boys to join us as a surprise!  The kids had a blast!  We sat right next to the dance floor and Caty sure loves dancing, just like her mommy does!

Tennessee – Part 10 – Family Night

Wednesday night we attended Family Night.

The show started with cloggers and they invited the kids onto the stage for a lesson.

This is FUN!!
267
Next were some jugglers, which were awesome, but it dragged on and on……
280
Here’s Ethan, Seamus and Grace checking things out
271
The kids eventually got bored and the four of them ended up on the dance floor behind the kids sitting watching the jugglers.
273
Next came a hypnotist – which is always fun to watch, but again, it went on FOREVER!!!
So Caty, Ethan and Grace took over the floor again with some dancing.
283
I love this next picture – I was too far away to hear but could read Ethan’s lips – he said “hold on girls, let me go get Seamus!”  And off he ran….
284
He came back empty handed so lucky Ethan had two girls to himself
285 286 287
I just love them!!

FINALLY the show was over and we had to say goodbye to the Camenga and Weisser families!  Oh how I wish that we lived close to them!!  Miss you guys so much!!
